Hazard law

THE ROAD Haulage Association, Freight Transport Association and Kent Police are holding joint seminars to acquaint operators with hazardous goods transport law.

One is being held on February 25 at the Great Danes Hotel, Maidstone; the other on March 5 at die Crest Hotel, Basildon, Essex.

Speakers from the Health and Safety Executive will join the sponsor organisations at each event which starts at 9.15am. The cost is £40 per delegate plus VAT.

BRS WESTERN is running a series of seminars on commercial management in transport, from Oxford University and the University of Wales. • One is being held at Ashton. Court Mansion, Bristol on February 19, another at Chepstow racecourse on April 10: and a third at Newbury racecourse on June 11. There is no charge, but there is a limit of 60 delegates per seminar.
