the National Bus Cominy's Darlington subsidiary, nited Automobile Services. The rear-engined lighteight integral bus is )wered by a rear-mounted ummins B-Series engine and cx peered to enter evaluation rvice with United on Feblary 24. GAC has laid off the entire workforce at its Shannon plant following completion of orders for Irish semi-state transport company CIE.
It needs export orders to restart production.
CIE is unlikely to need any new buses for three years unless the Irish Government decides to replace its CIEoperated fleet or 800 school buses,
