Ltd. for the year ended September 30, 1962, of £131,084 showed a drop on the profit for the equivalent period of 1961, which was £148,971. Net profit in 1962 was £49,922 (1961, £58,370). Turnover during the year increased by 10 per cent, but profit margins continued to fall, this being largely due to the intense competition experienced.
