granted permission by Mr. A. B. Birnie, the Scottish deputy Licensing Authority in Aberdeen on Tuesday, to add four new artics and two refrigerated containers to its fleet of over 50 vehicles.
The firm's application, which was for eight articulated vehicles and four containers to meet increasing paper and meat traffic out of Aberdeen. was opposed by British Railways and British Road Services.
Mr_ Birnie said he believed the applicant's customers had proved their need for additional transport. The Donside Paper Company Ltd. had shown that there was a fair opportunity for an increase in output during the coming year thereby demanding more transport.
