A N air link to the Continent is to be
employed by the Northern General Transport Co., Ltd., for the first time during the coming touring season. Passengers on three tours will fly from Newcastle to Luxembourg. The tours are to the Black Forest and Montreux, Konigssce and Eastern Bavaria, and Venice and the Italian Lakes.
In Britain, Northern General are this year extending the scope of their " popular" tours to embrace Bournemonth. Southport and Colwyn Bay.
Brief details of the tours are given below.
CONTINENT Seven days: Paris (£28 Os.).
Nine days: Brussels and Amsterdam (E35 10i.); Rhine Valley (£38).
Ten days: Black Forel! and Montreux (£50). Eleven days; Odense and Copenhagen (144 10s.). Twelve days: Interlaken; Lucerne (each £45): Bergen, Hardanger and Oslo (£46).
Thirteen days: Kanigsste and Eastern Bavaria LEV).
Fourteen days: Austria (555); French Riviera (f58). Fifteen days: Stresa and Lake Maggiore (L50); Venice and Italian Lakes (572), BRITAIN Three days: Blaekpool and Lake District: Kyles of Bute (eath .£8 10s.).
Five days: Norfolk Broads (£14 104.); Trossachs and Loch Lomond (£13 10s.).
