Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

AN interesting. point concerning a temporary agreement between Nottingham Corporation and the Trent Motor Traction Co., Ltd., was raised at a sitting of the East Midland Traffic Commissioners, a few days ago. The corporation opposed an application by the Trent concern to operate from Mansfield to Nottingha.m.

It was explained that the municipality wished to terminate an agreement relating to the route along Mansfield Road, between Daybnaok Square and the city, and desired to restore a previous agreement between the parties.

For the company it was submitted that the temporary agreement was binding and, if the corporation wished to revise it, the Trent concern might have to consider the revision of other agreements. In the opinion of Mr. j. H. Stirk, chairman of the Commissioners, the corporation appeared to be breaking faith: The application was adjourned.
