I N view of the fact that many opera
tors wish to have new vehicles inspected, with a minimum of delay, for certificates of fitness, Mr. T. E. B. Chalmers, certifying officer for Southern Scotland, has . arranged to examine such machines in Edinburgh on the second and fourth Mondays of each month, and in Glasgow on the first, third and last Mondays, of each month. At least seven clear days' notice must be given for examination.
