JACK WINN, chief engineer of East Yorkshire Motor Services and Lincolnshire Road Car Company, died last weekend after a short illness. He was 59.

Having been chief engineer of EYMS since 1969, he took on additional responsibility as chief engineer of the Lincolnshire company last year. Both are subsidiaries of the National Bus Company.

Mr Winn, a Chartered Engineer and Member of the institute of Mechanical Engineers, had worked for various companies in the NBC group since 1940. He leaves a wife, a married daughter and a young son.
