The comments of Thomas Lucas (CM November 17) makes my blood boil. In all his wisdom he thinks Leyland's T45 will be a disaster.
Surely Mr Lucas knows that the T45 testing programme will have been the most extensive ever given to a new lorry in the UK, and by the time it comes into full production next spring it will be the most advanced lorry in Europe.
I believe that the T45 will compete with all the foreign imports and win hands down.
And when are we going to get a "I'm backing Leyland campaigninstead of having to read views like those of Mr Lucas?
