The Boughton Group's RB44 was shown as a farm vehicle with low-compression engine and built-in winch. This allwheel-drive vehicle has a modified Ford A-Series cab and automatic transmission is standard.
The UMO Belarus Group was also showing a 4 x 4 on its stand — the Trekmaster.
A forward control goanywhere, it is available as either van or chassis cab. Fitted with a 2.5-litre engine which produces 80bhp, the Trekmaster can be used in twoor four-wheel drive form.
Smithfield always displays plenty of transport equipment and accessories, and this year was no exception.

A novel use for the material Crane Fruehauf uses to insulate its van bodies has been found. The company now offers a building roof insulation service.
A mobile unit is despatched to the building requiring insulation, and the operative literally sprays on the foam. As it .sets hard and is also an adhesive, it stops loose slates or tiles from falling off and at the same time provides excellent protection.
Some of the more obvious uses for the foam are for insulating farm buildings and garage workshops.
