ROADLINE UK has joined forces with the Salvation Army and BBC Television to help make Christmas better for Britain's needy. BBC's Nationwide is collecting Christmas gifts for needy old folk and deprived children, and has asked its viewers to deliver these either to a Salvation Army centre or, if more convenient, to the nearest Roadline depot. Roadline has agreed to deliver goods to Salvation Army centres free of charge.
This follows the company's similar co-operation with the Blue Peter programme which last took place for the recent Kampuchean relief campaign.
