Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

DESPITE misgivings from dealers, auctions of both coaches and stage carriage buses appear to be gaining ground.

British Car Auctions have announced a programme of regular bus and coach sales next year. A sale of redundant buses has been organised next week in Birmingham which will include both running and scrap vehicles.

BCA coach sales organiser Clive Platfoot said. "The potential is there and it is mainly going to be a matter of weaning dealers and operators from more traditional methods to the new concept of buying and selling by auction.

"Because used buses and coaches are particularly difficult to value, the auction, which is probably the most accurate way of pricing any vehicle, will eventually be welcomed."
