Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

As with the recently announced eight-wheeler, the six wheeler shares a similar specification with existing models but features the Chrysler BS 16 six-cylinder turbo-charged diesel engine rated at 158.9kW (213bhp) at 2,200rpm installed and the Chrysler 813 eight-speed synchromesh range-change overdrive gearbox.

The eight-wheeler is a new venture for Dodge. Plated at 28 or 30 tons respectively according to wheelbase dimensions of 5.21m (17ft) or 6,38m (20ft)1 the front I-beam axles are rated at 6 tons each and the rear single-speed double-drive axles at 9 tons each.

Both the six-wheeler, rated at 24 tons gross, and the eight-wheeler, have similar suspension, with semi-elliptic springs on the front working in conjunction with doubleacting hydraulic telescopic dampers and semi-elliptic four-spring non-reactive bogie at the rear.

The 300 Series 60 deg hydraulic tilt cab equipped with driver's suspension seat is standard throughout the range, No prices have yet been announced — neither vehicle will become generally available until next March.
