A COMPRESSED-AIR operated, 20-toncapacity hydraulic lifting jack has been introduced by the Consolidated Pneumatic Tool Co.

Called the CP.705-20TC, this wheelmounted jack comprises a pressure-vessel type oil reservoir connected by valves to a compressed air-operated ram which powers a plunger-type hydraulic pump; the hydraulic pressure generated raises the hydraulic lift ram to its full extent of 6.25 in. in some 18sec.

The jack has/ a net weight of 661b, an overall length of 4ft 2in. and a minimum height of 9.75in.
