Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

SEALED-BEAM quartz-halogen fog and long-range driving lamps have been introduced by Lucas.

The fog lamp is the Silver Sabre and the long-range lamp the Silver Lance. Both are 55W lamps, 5.75in. in diameter and with a front-to-back depth of only 3.5in. They are supplied with tough snap-on covers to fit over the light units when the lamps are not in use.

Quartz-halogen (popularly known as quartz-iodine) has created the biggest interest in vehicle lighting since the introduction of the sealed beam unit—primarily as they give 30 per cent more light output than tungsten filaments.

Lucas is the first company to combine theadvantages of both in the new model -7-auxiliary lamps with replaceable quartz-halogen bulbs have been made by Lucas for some time.
