£1,701,297 was achieved by J. Brockhouse and Co., Ltd., in the year ended" September 30 last. The figure for the previous year was £1,479,038.
In a statement in the annual report the chairman. Mr. John Brockhouse, expresses optimism about the immediate future of the company. He says the company is now in a stronger position than at any time, in its history and further improvements in its profitability and steady expansion during the next few years can reasonably be expected.
Mr. Brockhouse adds that the directors would welcome the opportunity offered by membership of the Common Market and are considering steps to establish themselves in this wider market.
