Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

of coal and coke in bulk to industrial premises has been designed by Come and Warren, Ltd., St. Ives, Huntingdon, the well-known coal factor. 'I he. preliminary model, of which three are already in use, is for loads of 5 tons and may be fitted to any chassis of that payload capacity.

The body proper tapers in width from the usual dimensions at the top to approximately 2 ft. at the bottom. What is, in effect, a moving floor, is driven by a power take-off. A second conveyor belt, which is detachable, lies in a rack along the side of the vehicle when not in use.

When a load is to be delivered, the detachable conveyor is slid from its resting place and, with its weight taken by a manually operated gantry, is swung out and coupled at its rear end to a swivel joint, which embodies a second power take-off to drive the conveyor. With this apparatus, coal can quickly and easily be tipped into the most inaccessible positions.

For coke, extensions to the body sides arc necessary to accommodate the full 5 tons. A model for 6-ton loads is being produced.

The prototype models are being used by the company, but it is intended shortly to put it into production and to offer it to other pbtential users.
