• A 45-year-old man is on police bail pending an investigation into allegations of theft from clients of the charitable trust Fair Trials Abroad.
The unnamed man was arrested following a Twickenham police investigation into allegations of theft made in July 1995. Thousands of pounds are understood to have gone missing from funds collected to help
truck drivers and othei clients arrested abroad. trust helps people accusk carrying drugs or o offences. Police confirm the will be held on bail October.
Fair Trials says any c ment could prejudice the tigation's outcome. Nobody rently connected with Trials is under suspicion.
