Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Having watched the way John Davison and his wife built up the John Dee Group. I am surprised at the amount of people who have kicked him when he is down. I know John, Pearl (his wife) and Lesley better than most and I respect all of them; they are in my opinion all hardworking people.

Although the company grew too fast too soon, I do not personally think that the demise was John Davison's fault.

I cannot see why the Road Haulage Association is trying to block his 0-licence applications and other operators are slagging him off. If they could be bothered to turn up at a creditors' meeting they may have been able to find out if they could salvage anything.

Nobody is perfect and all of us make mistakes — some small, some massive — and we learn by them.

As for the hauliers who lost money, if they could see the company going down then why did they continue working for JD? That was their mistake. P Clark Serburn Hill, Durham.
