• Ribble Motor Services has been ordered to pay £50,000 damages to a fitter who received horrific injuries when a bus reversed over him at the company's Blackpool depot.

Preston Crown Court heard that as a result of the accident Peter Swarbrick, of Lawson's Road, Thornton had a broken collar and backbone, a collapsed lung and four broken ribs.
The company was also ordered to pay the costs of the action.
