Last year, 6,438 goods vehicles were produced at the Stuttgart-Untertfirkheim and Sindelfingen factories, 25,452 goods vehicles and buses at Mannheim, and 11,062 goods vehicles, buses and special tractors at Gaggenau. Because of difficulties created by now 'German transport legislation, the output of heavy commercial vehicles at Gaggenau dropped by 18.4 per cent.
