AS part of the general improvement of the Stafford—Stoke section of the A34 road, work is expected to start shortly on a scheme to build dual carriageways nearly two miles long at a cost of more than f200,000. The section runs from the Filleybrooks river bridge to the Brooms, just south of Stone.
