In an interview, Mr.. Harry M'Ghee, director of Northern Roadways, Ltd.. said: " Our application has been granted nine months too late for us to take advantage of the licences this season. We mean to open up the Highlands to thousands who have only heard of the marvellous scenery. I have arranged to fly to the Unitcd States and Canada, where I shall sell' Scotland tothe tourist agenzies. and next year we hope to bring shiploads of American and Canadian tourists."
