be for all trailers?
THE INTERLUBE SLA lubrication system, formerly designed for off-road vehicles and haulage vehicles working in severe conditions, has now been developed for use on trailers working on either long or short hauls.
A small pump feeds oil to the trailer's bearing points at predetermined intervals from a ring main.
The whole system is controlled by individually calibrated metering units.
On larger trailers or those with their own separate lubri ;ation system a duplicate )ump and ring main can be Wed.
For short haul work, a ;olenoid valve linked to the railer brake light circuit can ae fitted.
This gives a lubrication shot very time the foot brake is tpplied.
There are four sizes of )umping units to cater for vehicles having between nine and 60 lub points.
Up to six meter units, incorporating their own filters and check valves, can be built into the system.
Maintenance of the system, manufactured by lnterlube Systems of Estover Road, Plymouth, Devon is limited to topping up the reservoir and changing the filter element.
