A WORKING demonstration of lifting gear available to heavy vehicle recovery men will be staged at a special two-day conference sponsored by CM at Wembley next month.
The event is being held at the Wembley Centre on May 5 and 6, and on each afternoon there will be a display of cranes, jacks, winches and air bags used in recovery.
There will also be a static exhibition enabling visitors to meet the suppliers and makers of recovery equipment.
At the conference there will be speakers from the Road Transport Industry Training Board, Ernest Notcutt, insurance brokers, Crane Fruehauf Holmes, the Hertfordshire Constabulary and Department of Transport engineers' section. Fee for the course is £55 plus VAT, inclusive of coffee, lunch and tea on both days and admission to the demonstration and exhibition of wrecker equipment.
