THE International Harvester Co. of Great Britain Ltd. has been admitted to associate membership of the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders. The US-owned International Harvester was once an SMMT member through its UK tractor offshoot, but has not been a member for some time now; this new membership is, of course, on the truck side, as a result of the Doncaster production of four-wheeled goods chassis. (These were described in COMMERCIAL MOTOR of February 4 last.)
