THE application of United Counties Omnibus Co. Ltd for a road service licence and backing, authorizing stage carriage services between Bletchley and Bedford has been granted, but the grant will take effect only after the expiry of the period for lodging an appeal to the Minister or, in the event of an appeal being lodged, after its determination or withdrawal. The decision of the Traffic Commissioners for the East Midland and Eastern areas follows a joint sitting at Cambridge on December 14.
