THE possibility of forming a United King' dom group of Transfrigoroute—the international organization for hauliers specializing in refrigerated traffic—is to be discussed at a meeting to be held next month, probably on May 3 or 25.
Among those firms indicating their willingness to attend are the Union Cartage Co. Ltd., Brit-European Transport Ltd., Walter M. Hatton Ltd., Rutherford Bros., Continental Transport Ltd., Monk's International Transport, and Continental Ferry Trailers.
It is thought that between 12 and 15 companies could be directly interested in the project; the advantages of a Transfrigoroute interworking group were outlined in COMMERCIAL MOTOR of December 24, 1965.
