TEN coach chassis, five for Southdown Motor Services, Ltd.,' Brighton, and five-for George Ewer and Co., 'Ltd., London, arc being delivered on priority orders by Leyland Motors, Ltd. At the luncheon which preceded the meeting, Air. J. W. Fletcher, East. Midland Licensing Atithority, said there were 22,912 C-licence holders in the area, operating 44;179 vehicles, in the past they had been " somewhat docile" and gave little trouble, but now they were coming into the picture.

The exhibition is being promoted by the Council of -Industrial Design, and will be held at Murray House, Petty France, London, S.W.1, from May 3-31. The products of more than 60 manufacturers have been selected for .display. Amongst the new processes to be shown is one which prevents any form of metallic corrosion, although the impregnated wrapper may not be hermetically sealed.
