• Owners of Toyota Liteace vans built between August 1985 and July 1988 should contact their local dealer concerning a potential steering defect.
Toyota (GB) has discovered that the steering gear could become contaminated with water, possibly resulting in corrosion. Dealers will carry out any necessary work free.
All UK supplies of twowheel-drive Toyota Ililux pickups are now being made in the Toyota-Volkswagen production plant in Hanover, West Germany.
