PERISHABLES and dry freight goods in refrigerated box vans can be kept separate using the latest moveable bulkhead door from Henderson of Rornford, Essex.
In a standard kit form the one-piece GRP panelled door has a 75mm polyurethane foam core with brush nylon seals which Henderson claims
provides a thermal barrier maintaining temperatures as low as —25deg C on one side and ambient on the other.
Weighing 40kg the door is counter balanced to allow one-man operation and runs On 2.44mm (8ft) of galvanised steel tracking.
Spring loaded catches lock the door at 305mm (12in) centres top and bottom in the vertical and the rearward stowed position. When secured to the roof it folds into 1 7 8mm (7in) of headroom. Tracking can be specified to any suitable length and secondary brush sealing is available.
