BEING exhibited for the first time at Frankfurt next week is the new heavy duty tractive unit from the Dutch manufacturer, Floor. This features a cab built by Motor Panels (Coventry) Ltd which incorporates front panels in glass fibre.
Initially 200 cab shells are being supplied to the company for this new vehicle.
In addition another Motor Panels exhibit is a 2.5m wide cab fitted to a Semex 6 x 6 chassis. The cab system, which has been designed for use on dump trucks, crash tenders and mobile cranes, can be fitted to both normal and forward control vehicles.
