Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE VERSALIFT is a new aerial bucket lift which is designed to be fitted to a standard van such as a Ford Transit or Bedford CF. The aim is to provide a mobile workshop which can handle overhead installation and maintenenace work.

Controls for elevation, rotation and extension are mounted in the bucket. Override controls are mounted on the pedestal.

Vertical reach is 9.1 metres (30ft) in less than a minute and the unit can rotate (noncontinuously) through 360'.

Creep

Hydraulic power is supplied by a 12 V de pump, a pto or fan-belt-driven pump. Safety features include counterbalance holding valves to prevent creep, a lock cylinder in case of line failure, and a selflocking worm gear to prevent rotation drift.

The machine is claimed to be completely stable without outriggers when mounted on a recommended vehicle.

Options including an emergency hydraulic system, grp buskets and an airline to the bucket. Further details from Power Lifts Ltd, Hadley Works, Caxton Way, Holywell Industrial Estate, Watford.
