Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

I am preparing a comprehensive historical volume on haulage liveries back as far as 1930. Whilst I have thousands of notes and photographs collected over the past 20 years or so. I still lack details of certain very wellknown operators.

May I appeal to your readers for any recollections they have of colour schemes of the following firms, which were operative pre-war and up to nationalization?
