• Tyneside PTE has acquired the 34vehicle coach fleet formerly operated by R. Armstrong Ltd and Galleys Coaches Ltd of Newcastle. The companies have specialized in private hire but also operate stage carriage services in the Newcastle area. Inquiry offices in Newgate Street and Shields Road will remain open.
