Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• SELNEC PTE is currently receiving 33 more Seddon Midi buses to add to the four it already has in service. Eleven of the new batch will have semi-luxury seating for 23 passengers and be used on a series of new services. Among these are a town centre service in Bolton, a new feeder route to Manchester airport and a demandresponsive system serving Wythenshawe hospital.

The remaining 22 Midis will have 19 service bus seats and accommodation for 19 standees. The seats are arranged on a two and one basis. These vehicles will be fitted with an Allison automatic fourspeed gearbox. This is one of the smallest applications for this gearbox, it is understood. 1 he vehicles will probably be used on two Manchester city centre routes following the line of the proposed — but now shelved — Pic-Vic underground line. They will operate a five-minute frequency service in each direction. The vehicles should be delivered by the end of the year.
