• Kiindig International Ltd, of Dagenham, Essex, is a fast-expanding trailer operator which intends to open offices on the Continent shortly. The company was formed only in November last year, but expects to have a turnover in excess of Lim in its first year.
Chairman and managing director, Mr Max Kiindig, attributes the growth of the company to having established a network of contacts in all EEC countries, having command of seven languages, and offering a fast and competitive service.
His trailers — Cravens Homalloy TIR tilts and Taskvans — are hauled by Hays Wharf tractive units in this country: abroad they are met by foreign motive power at French, Belgian and Dutch ports.
The Taskvans are used, among other things, for regular services to and from Florence and Prato, in association with Mario Meoni, Casa di Spedizioni, carrying textile wastes, and returning with shoes, tableware, handbags and textiles.
