• Through its TLT Distribution division, Tate and Lyle Transport Ltd plans to offer a national warehousing and distribution service from 12 large sites near major trunk routes by 1976.
The services offered by TLT from these up-to-200,000 sq ft depots will include telephone selling, local order reception, packaging and the operation of regional sales offices in the client's name, as well as break-bulk facilities and storage.
TLT's first multiple distribution depot was at Brighouse, Yorks, and now there are three more at Barry. Avonmouth and Greenford.
