• Keith Speed, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Department of the Environment, will visit the National Finals of the CM-sponsored Lorry Driver of the Year Competition at Gamecock Barracks, Bramcote, near Nuneaton, this Sunday (September 9).
The DoE has a "Safer Roads" exhibition at the event, including advice on vehicle loading, and there will be DoE officials on hand to answer questions.
The Finals will start with a road route, Highway Code and legal questions and then manoeuvring tests to establish class winners. Immediately after lunch there will be the run-off to determine the national champion.
