the issued capital of Lodge Plugs, Ltd., earlier this year, the directors of S. Smith and Sons (England), Ltd., announce their intention to merge the businesses of K.L.G. Sparking Plugs, Ltd., and Lodge Plugs, Ltd., together with certain other Smiths interests, into a new division to be known as the Spark Plug and Ceramics Division.
It is intended to maintain the separate trade marks and brand names K.L.G. and Lodge, Hylumina and Sintox for ceramic products.
The merger should be completed by February 3, 1963, the mid-financial-year date and the division should commence operations, as such, on that date.
