MR. C. W..RICHARDS, a prominent member of the Road Haulage Associa' tion's Milk Carriers Group since it formation, has givm up h:s road haul-. age interests to devote more attention to a company concerned with the operation of the new electropol process for the electrolytic polishing of stainless steel, iron and alloys. Mr. Richards was chairman of the Milk Carriers Group for several years and later served as vice-chairman.

BLACKMORE OR the East Midlands committee. Mr. Powell is the executive transport manager of Falk, Stadelmann and Co., Ltd. Mr. Smith is chairman of the transport committee of Leicester Chamber. of Commerce, and is a member of the transport committee of the Association of British Chambers of Commerce.

REGISTRATION of new vehicles for June, excluding cars and motorcycles. showed a drop of 1,765 as compared with those for the previous month. "Other goods," at 6,639, were down by 733, "exempt vehicles," at 890 showed a drop of 368, and " agricultural engines" were lower by 587 at 2,710.
