Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A LARGER and more powerful engine is now available for the one-ton Mazda pick-up.

With a bore and stroke of 80 x 88mm (3.15 x 3.46in) the new engine has a cubic capacity of just under 1800cc giving the vehicle its new type number — Mazda B1800.

The engine, which has an aluminium cylinder-head, was designed with a compression ratio of 8.6 to 1 to enable it to run on two-star petrol.

Maximum power is 66kW (88bhp) at 5,500rpm, while the maximum torque rating is 137Nm (110Ibft) at 3,000rpm. These figures compare with the 60kW (80bhp) and 123N m (91Ibft) of the previous B1600 power plant.
