THE FIRST Mercedes-Benz machines in the UK to be fitted wi super singles have been specified by Thomas Graves (Disposal) Ltd of Carnforth. By fitting York hydraulic third axles, the two 1626/ Mercedes have been uprated from 16.26 to 24.4 tonnes (16 to tons) gvw for use on waste disposal.
