Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

HAULIERS involved in the annual sugar beet campaign have found vehicles standing idle because of the late start to the haulage of beet from the fields to sugar factories.

The campaign has been held up at six factories due to a pay dispute at Peterborough, King's Lynn, Wissington, Selby, Allscot, and Kidderminster.

Late harvesting of grain has meant that vehicle schedules have been upset, said eastern area Road Haulage Association secretary Ken Williams this week.

A British Sugar Corporation spokesman told CM that the campaign could easily go on into January because of the dispute.
