ALATE arrival in the demonstration park at the Commercial Motor Show, which closed on Saturday, was a six-wheeled conversion of a Bedford TK model carried out by the Primrose Third Axle Co., Ltd. It is thought to be the first such conversion applied to any model from this new Bedford range.

The vehicle converted was a KGL 7i-ton I3-ft. 11-in.-wheelbase model, and the Primrose trailing-axle layout with coil springs and hydraulic compensation was employed. The trailing-axle-wheel brakes had a linkage from the normal handbrake lever which was inter-connected with the standard linkage to the disc transmission brake which takes effect on the driving axle.

MUNICIPAL TRAINING SCHEME ' 1.-IN Monday the national training scheme of the Municipal Passenger Transport Association for potential managers began. It is basically similar to the trainee-schemes operated by th.i B.E.T. and Tilling Groups.
