lights on vehicles stationary during the hours of darkness have revealed -that many drivers are under the impression that it is legal to leave a vehicle on a road at night with only a single parking light on the off side. The Ministry of Transport points out that the Jaw requires every motor vehicle, except a cycle or invalid carriage, to have two white lights at the front and one red light at the rear. There is no exemption, except in some authorized parking places.
