AS a temporary measure during the spreading of the industrial electricity load this winter, the British Transport Commission is again issuing, on appropriate road and rail services, workmen's tickets outside the normal hours. Conditions of issue are similar to those laid down in the past.
The Minister of Transport has consulted representative associations of other road passenger transport operators, and hopes that local arrangements will be made for workmen's tickets to c2 be made available outside the usual hours to workers who are obliged to 'travel at these times because of the spread-over of the power load.
