Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

INTEREST attaches to the bodywork of the new A.E.C. buses which the Mansfield District Traction Co. has recently purchased to carry out a system of replacing trams by buses. In last week's issue we dealt with the operating side of the matter.

The bodies have been built by Metropolitan Cammell Weymann Motor Bodies, Ltd., at the company's Weymann factory at Addlestone, and, so far, 30 have been constructed.

In each vehicle there are seats for 54 passengers. 26 being accommodated in the lower saloon and 28 on the upper deck. The seats, which are of the bodybuilder's B2 type, are s'pecially trimmed with ConoIl3r's hand-buffed brown hide and brown and green rep.

Ventilation is assisted by the provision of six Quicktho I.T.-type half drop windows with glass louvres above them, whilst there are also extractors and intakes of Metropolitan-CammellWeymann design, and Ashanco extractors. The interior woodwork is of light polished oak, whilst the appearance os the saloons is further enhanced by the treatment of the interior roofs, which are white, with "egg-shell" finish.
