The only event dedicated to the tipper and bulk transport sector — Tip-ex 14—is also confirmed for next year. It will take place at Harrogate International Centre on 29-31 May. Now in its second year under the ownership of Road Transport Media (the owner of CM), the event continues to expand, with stand bookings already substantially ahead of last year. Key elements of the show return next year: • the Protruck auction will take place at the Great Yorkshire Showground on the afternoon of 29 May; • Andy Annat's award-winning Crackerjack BBQ will be hosted outside on the Edbro stand;
• a revamped, compelling seminar programme will be in place.
The Tip-ex Gala Dinner & Awards will take place on the evening of 30 May at the Majestic Hotel. Two award categories are already confirmed: Tip-ex Haulier of the Year, sponsored by MAN; and Personality of the Year, sponsored by Hyva. The awards will be launched in January next year. Individual tickets for the dinner are £60+ VAT, while a table of 10 costs £550+VAT.
