Barnett goes • RTITB Services director-general David Barnett, who has slashed the 400-strong workforce by 150 since taking over five years ago, has been made redundant. The Road Transport Industry Training Board becomes an independent training company in April and loses its right to raise an annual training levy from its 29,000 members.
